FAQ — Live Well Massage Therapy

Question 1

Is Live Well really women focused?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. Live Well Massage Therapy is a women-focused spa. All of our guests and therapists are women. This is an intentional choice — we believe women relax more deeply and feel more at ease in a space designed with them in mind.

Question 2

Are men allowed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, men are most certainly welcome! While Live Well is a women-focused space — designed with women's comfort and experience in mind — we warmly welcome everyone. Our goal is simply to create a place where every guest feels at ease, cared for, and completely at home.

Question 3

Where are you located?

Accepted Answer

We're located at 120 N Kirkwood Road in Downtown Kirkwood, Missouri. We're easy to find with convenient parking nearby.

Question 4

What are your hours?

Accepted Answer

We're open Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Question 5

Do you require a membership?

Accepted Answer

Never. We don't offer memberships and we never will. You book when you want, pay for what you receive, and there are no recurring charges or contracts. Simple as that.

Question 6

Will I be pressured to buy products or upgrade my service?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. We have a strict no-pressure policy. Our therapists are here to give you an exceptional experience — not to sell you anything. If you love a product and want to know more, we're happy to share. But you will never feel pushed.

Question 7

Do you offer a first-visit discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes! New guests receive 20% off their first visit. No code needed — the discount is applied automatically at the time of service.

Question 8

What should I expect during my first visit?

Accepted Answer

When you arrive, you'll be warmly welcomed and given a brief intake form. Your therapist will take a few minutes to understand your goals and any areas of focus or concern. Then you'll be shown to your private room to settle in at your own pace. The session is entirely yours.

Question 9

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

You'll undress to your comfort level in a private room and be draped with a sheet throughout your session. Your therapist will only undrape the area being worked on. Your comfort and privacy are always the priority.

Question 10

How early should I arrive?

Accepted Answer

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your appointment for your first visit. This gives you time to complete your intake form and settle in without feeling rushed.

Question 11

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We understand that plans can change. As a small, appointment-based wellness studio, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, will likely be subject to a 100% charge of the scheduled service. This policy allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another guest and helps us support our therapists and estheticians. We appreciate your understanding and consideration — thank you for respecting our time and the time of our wellness professionals.

Question 12

Is prenatal massage safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our prenatal massage is specifically designed for expecting mothers and uses safe positioning and techniques appropriate for each trimester. We recommend consulting your OB or midwife if you have any concerns, and please let us know how far along you are when booking.

Question 13

What's the difference between Swedish and Deep Tissue massage?

Accepted Answer

Swedish massage uses lighter, flowing strokes to promote relaxation and circulation — it's wonderful for stress relief and first-time guests. Deep tissue uses slower, firmer pressure to reach deeper muscle layers and release chronic tension. Your therapist can help you decide which is right for you.
